Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) classes focus on advanced cardiac and critical care for infants and children experiencing life‑threatening emergencies. The program is designed for healthcare professionals who are involved in the assessment, recognition, and management of pediatric respiratory, shock, and cardiac emergencies.

Throughout the PALS course, participants learn to:

  • Perform systematic pediatric assessments and recognize early signs of deterioration
  • Deliver high‑quality resuscitative care during cardiac and respiratory events
  • Manage pediatric emergencies such as shock, arrhythmias, and cardiac arrest
  • Provide effective care after return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC)
  • Apply critical thinking, problem-solving, and team-based communication to improve patient outcomes
  • PALS classes are intended for professional healthcare providers who manage critically ill pediatric patients in in-hospital, pre-hospital, or out-of-hospital settings. Participants must already be proficient in pediatric Basic Life Support (BLS) skills before enrolling.
